Hello. I loved Alma. I knew her I. The 1980's when I lived for a few years in Bath, Maine, and had a studio near hers. Can you tell me please, how did she come to be in the US when she so clearly has a large and loving community in Poland? Thank you for these videos. So moving.
I only ever saw her in Poland. I shot these clips in her house in Przesieka shortly after she died. I don't think she'd been to the US in quite a while. She was not really well enough to travel anywhere.
